Privacy policy

Server4U (a subsidiary of Mycel Technologies Ltd) operates server4u.co and the control panel at panel.server4u.co. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account details: name, business name, phone number and/or email address, and a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Sign in with Google or Apple: we receive only a user identifier, email address and name. We get no access to your account, contacts or files.
- Usage and operational data: IP address, browser type, sign-in times and panel activity logs — for security, fraud prevention and support.
- Billing data: invoice details and order history. Card details are processed by our payment provider and never stored by us.
- Your content: files, apps, databases and DNS records you place on our servers. We access it only to provide the service, for support you requested, or when required by law.
How we use it
- To create and manage your account, verify your identity and keep sign-in secure.
- To deliver the services you ordered — servers, domains, SSL, backups and monitoring — and to send operational alerts (for example, a server outage or an expiring domain).
- To bill you, issue invoices and meet legal obligations.
- To improve and secure the service. We do not send marketing email without consent, and we never sell your data.
Who we share it with
- Service providers acting on our behalf, only as needed: infrastructure and hosting providers, Cloudflare (DNS), domain registrars, our SMS provider, Resend (email), our payment processor, and a cloud backup service.
- Google and Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Authorities — only when required by law or court order.
- Registering a domain requires passing registrant details to the registrar and registry, under ICANN and registry rules.
Security and retention
- Traffic is encrypted (TLS), passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and sensitive keys are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it.
- We keep data while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records). Backups are rotated and deleted on a schedule.
Cookies
- We use strictly necessary cookies only — to keep you signed in to the panel and to secure the sign-in flow. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
- Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and the GDPR where it applies, you may access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your data.

Changes
- If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the panel before they take effect.
